Engineering · Full-Time
We're looking for a Fullstack Developer who can build across the stack in TypeScript, ship production-grade features, and think in systems. You'll be the second engineering hire and work closely with the founders and early team to turn real-world manufacturing workflows into product experiences that operators and leadership trust. You'll build UI, APIs, and data flows end-to-end—often iterating quickly with pilot customers—while keeping an eye on scalability, correctness, and maintainability.
Our customers are mid-market and SMB manufacturers ($50M–$5B revenue) operating with a mix of ERP, spreadsheets, email, tribal knowledge, and disconnected systems. They need software that works in messy real-world environments, provides visibility and decision support—not dashboards nobody uses—integrates with existing tools, and helps reduce labor inefficiency, avoid downtime, and improve throughput. You'll help build software that becomes part of the operating rhythm of a factory.
Build and ship full-stack features using React + Node.js/Express + TypeScript. Design and implement REST and/or GraphQL APIs and integrate with external systems. Own data models and database interactions with a SQL-first mindset. Improve product usability and performance with thoughtful frontend engineering. Collaborate directly with pilot customers to validate workflows and iterate quickly. Establish clean patterns for architecture, testing, deployment, and observability as the team scales. Contribute to engineering practices: PR reviews, code quality, docs, and developer experience.
TypeScript on both frontend and backend. Full-stack projects built with React + Node.js/Express. Comfortable with SQL databases and REST or GraphQL APIs. Basic understanding of deployment and hosting. Proficiency with Git workflows including branching, PRs, and code review.
Next.js full-stack features including Server Actions and API routes. Authentication implementation with JWT or OAuth. Docker and containerization basics. Testing across the stack: unit, integration, and end-to-end.
T-shaped skills: deep in one area, strong working ability across the rest. Systems thinking: you understand data flow end-to-end and design for reality. Self-directed learner: resourceful, curious, and fast to pick up new patterns and tools. Comfortable context-switching between frontend and backend without losing quality.
You'll build with direct customer feedback from real factories with real constraints. You'll work on a product with enterprise-level ACV and outcomes that matter. You'll help shape an AI-native platform in a massive, under-served market. And you'll join early enough to meaningfully influence product, architecture, and culture.
